RPF Recruitment Exam Pattern

Railway Recruitment RPF Exam will be conducted in 4 phases:

  • Phase 1: CBT

  • Phase 2: PET

  • Phase 3: PMT

  • Phase 4: Document Verification

Negative Marking: 1/3rd Marks will be deducted for a question attempted wrong by a candidate. No marks will be deducted for any question left unanswered.

PET (Physical Efficiency Test)

It is mandatory for all candidates to qualify Physical Efficiency Test in order to be eligible for further recruitment of RPF Exam.

Constable Male 5 min 45 sec - 14 feet 4 feet
Constable Female - 3 min 40 sec 9 feet 3 feet
For the Post of Constable

Constable Male 6 min 30 sec - 12 feet 3 feet 9 inch
Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
For both Constable and Sub-Inspector

Document Verification

This is the final selection stage for RPF Recruitment 2018. Candidates who have been selected in the previous processes will be finally called for Document Verification. Shortlisted candidates should produce NOC from the employer on the date of his/her DV failing which their candidature will be cancelled

RPF Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for RPF Recruitment Exam, a candidate must follow the given age limit.

For constables

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Maximum Age: 25 years

For Sub-Inspectors

  • Minimum Age: 20 years

  • Maximum Age: 25 years
