The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) specifies the RRB ALP Selection Process. The details of all stages of the RRB ALP Selection Process includes the following 5 stages:

 

  1. CBT Stage- I (75 Marks)

  2. CBT Stage- II (175 Marks)

  3. Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT)

  4. Document Verification

  5. Medical Examination

 

 

CBT Stage- I Exam Pattern 2024-
  • There is a Negative Marking of ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer.

  • The duration of the CBT 1 Exam is 60 minutes.

  • There will be 75 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 1 mark each.

CBT Stage- 2 Exam Pattern 2024-
  • There is a Negative Marking of ⅓ mark for each incorrect answer.

  • In total there will be 175 questions (100 in Paper 1 and 75 in Paper 2).

  • The duration of the Paper 1 Exam is 90 minutes and Paper 2 is 60 minutes.

Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) Pattern 2024-

Candidates equal to 8 times of the vacancies will be shortlisted for the RRB ALP CBAT on the basis of score of Part A of the CBT 2. Candidates need to secure a minimum T-score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify this test. There shall be no negative marking in ALP CBAT. The RRB ALP Computer Based Aptitude Test is to be appeared by all candidates opted for ALP posts and no relaxation in this regard is permissible.

 

In this test, RRB will check the vision and psychometric examination of the candidates for the suitability of the candidates for the posts. The RRB ALP CBAT exam consists of different test batteries. Each test battery comprises five to six tests. RRB ALP CBAT Syllabus 2024 consists of following subjects-

 

1. Information Ordering Test: Candidates’ ability to arrange objects in a precise sequence in accordance with the prescribed rules will be tested by questions of the Information Ordering Test.

 

2. Select Attentive Test: Throughout this test, candidates will be asked to pay attention to one thing for a set amount of time while neglecting unrelated events that are happening at the same time. This exam measures how quickly applicants can determine if two numbers are the same or not by immediately comparing them.

 

3. Intelligence Test: Each question in this test consists of five figures, four of which are distinctive and one of which is related in some manner. Applicants must determine which of the five is unique from other options.

 

4. Spatial Screening Test: This examination gauges applicants’ object-matching accuracy and speed. Using a given map, candidates must determine the quickest path between any two positions in the least amount of time.

 

5. Personality Test: Candidates in this test take this assessment and answer questions about their interests and attitudes in order to evaluate their personalities. A question has three possible answers; none of them are inherently correct or incorrect. Applicants must choose the option that fits them best. Two distinct personality aspects of the candidate are assessed based on the responses, and scores are derived.
